Entry Point North has been working with Ghana Civil Aviation Authorities to deliver an air traffic safety electronics personnel (ATSEP) training programme.
From 16 January to 15 May, more than 30 ATSEP participated in basic training followed by four different qualification streams that cover the topics of communication, navigation, surveillance and data processing.
On 15 May the last course was concluded with an end of programme ceremony, which included handing out training certificates for all courses. The ceremony started with a prayer and was followed by speeches from the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) management and an Entry Point North representative.
All in all, the delivery to and cooperation with GCAA has been a joy. From the end of May, we continued this cooperation with an on-job training instructor course, which we expect to deliver more of in mid-2019.
