The next-generation version of the universal flight information system (UFIS®), called UFIS JB®, is entering its final phase of initial development. This phase includes initial key user training and user acceptance testing.
“This is an important milestone in the development of UFIS JB,” said Anders Sagadin, president and CEO of UFIS Airport Solutions (UFIS-AS). “We are excited to enter this final phase in the development project, and we are looking forward to the rollout, scheduled for the end of this year.”
UFIS JB has been a joint development project for UFIS-AS and Athens International Airport (AIA). AIA has provided user insight and operational expertise to the product. The user acceptance test is taking place in the ‘JB lab’ at AIA.
