UFIS Airport Solutions (UFIS-AS), the leading provider of collaborative airport management for the global airport community, has announced that Anders Sagadin, a 20-year industry and software veteran, has been named as president and CEO of the company.

“I am very pleased that a person of Anders Sagadin’s stature has agreed to lead UFIS; he will bring great leadership and international experience, and his knowledge will be of great value for the company”, UFIS’s chairman, Arthur J. Olafsen, said.

“He knows what it takes to run an international software business and build brands, having spent the last 10 years in senior positions. He has a passion for the customer that is unsurpassed, and an understanding of how to execute on technology vision that drives revenue growth.”

Most recently, Sagadin was chairman and CEO for one of the leading companies in the IT outsourcing market in Sweden. Prior to that, he held several senior positions and also played a major role as senior vice-president when building the global professional services for Computer Associates International, Inc. (NYSE: CA).

“Anders turned a relatively unknown software company, Aventura Systems Group, into a substantial business later acquired by CA. He possesses a talented set of skills, including business development, sales and marketing, that combined make him a complete manager and the right person to lead UFIS as it continues to move forward”, Mr. Olafsen continued.
