Nilfisk’s new low-noise scrubber / dryer series, designated the CA/BA 451/531/551/611, replace the
company’s existing range and feature an exceptionally low noise level. This allows the units to be used for daytime cleaning, even in noise-sensitive areas. The new machines can also be supplied with the unique ECO Dosage Solution (EDS) that not only automatically ensures accurate mixing of detergents but also injects the detergent directly into the water stream at the scrub deck instead of mixing in the tank.
Other new or improved features of the new range include interchangeable brush decks with three disc sizes and a cylindrical option; more running time between battery charging; the ECO solution to save water and detergent
consumption; and a number of improvements intended to increase productivity. The development of this latest Nilfisk range of walk-behind scrubber / dryers and their salient features is in line with the company’s strategy of lowering the total costs of cleaning for their customers.
The intended target group for the new machines is very wide but the benefits will be particularly noted by cleaning contractors and other professional users. A company spokesperson commented: “This new series of machines is a direct result of our ongoing dialogue with industry professionals. The demand is for better cleaning efficiency with reliability of performance and in particular, features such as the low noise level and more modern and accurate detergent mixing.
