The directors of Smart Approach and Quadratica are delighted to announce that the two businesses have joined forces to create a leading force in high-tech web and computerised training. The expanded company, which will be chaired by Brenden Holt (presently a non-executive director of Quadratica), will continue to sell products under both the Quadratica and Smart Approach brands.
Quadratica (UK) is a Lincolnshire-based business specialising in the provision of web-based training to the aviation, travel and security markets. Customers include Manchester Airport Group, Her Majesty’s Prison Service, Canadian and US airport security providers, and training professionals.
Smart Approach, also Lincolnshire-based, has been established for over ten years and its flagship product SmartSystem is well established as a strong brand in international markets, with over 50 customers globally including AVSECO, Hong Kong; the Royal Air Force; and major airport authorities throughout the world.
Mike Ormesher, CEO of Smart Approach, said, “I am proud of the past achievements of Smart Approach, and confident that becoming part of the Quadratica family will allow the business to accelerate its growth and market share. I am looking forward to undertaking my new role as managing director of the exclusive master distributor for the products in the Middle and Far East.
“This is an important step in the evolution of Quadratica,” managing director Christopher Grey said. “Our two companies complement one another in product range, market and scale, and we acknowledge the skill and dedication of our new colleagues. I believe that our combined international presence and expertise in the training and security sectors will be instrumental in the continued expansion of our business, and we expect our customers to view this very positively.”
