MEP CEO Werner van Eck and Sigma Wireless sales manager Paul Kinna signed a contract for the delivery of a VoIP Emergency Voice Communication System for the control tower at Dublin Airport.

The system will be put in operation for the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) later this year. The signing ceremony was witnessed by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands as part of the State and trade visit of the Netherlands to Ireland, which included visits to the ports of Dublin and Cork.

MEP has developed and supplied voice communication systems for air traffic applications since 1989. The company offers new solutions that improve traffic flows and safety worldwide.
