The Minister of Transport of Kenya has announced the award of the contract for the planning, design and construction supervision for the expansion and modernization of the terminal at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). The terminal development project, which is supported by the World Bank, will improve security at the terminal, increase capacity, provide a new area for restaurants and retail, and generally improve the terminal.

Q2 is currently the architect on the $100 million Grantley Adams Airport development in Barbados, and the terminal expansion/modernization in St Vincent in the Grenadines. The Principals of the firm have been involved in other airport developments in the past, including Hanoi, Seoul, Halifax and Saint John (Canada).
