Creating differences by offering IT solutions in airports which provide service 24/7 at 3 continents, TAV IT was presented an award under the category of ‘The Best IT Governance Project of the Year’ with its Abu Dhabi Midfield Terminal Building (MTB) and Riyadh Terminal 5 projects at the ‘IDC Turkey CIO Summit 2017’.

The summit, which is the most significant event in the IT world held for the eight time this year, gathered international IT professionals, sector leaders and inspiring philosophers and speakers.

TAV IT General Manager Binnur Güleryüz Onaran stated: "Receiving an award from IDC, which is deemed an authority of the IT world, once more for our IT solutions that are of critical importance for the airports means so much to us.

"Today, we offer IT solutions in 31 airports which provide 24/7 service in 3 continents and TAV IT is proud to be awarded for these services which offer our innovation power and know-how to the passengers, clients and third parties.

"Abu Dhabi Midfield Terminal Building (MTB) and Riyadh Terminal 5 projects, prime examples of the airport IT projects, cover the management of all IT infrastructures, including the complete design, installation and commissioning of the airport.

"We not only provide technical infrastructure services but also manage the operation and enable the motivation and coordination of the project team, especially concerning geographic, cultural and personal differences. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all my colleagues who contributed to the project. I hope we will achieve many projects together."

88 projects of 65 companies applied to IDC CIO Summit this year and these projects were evaluated by the jury consisting of esteemed CIOs.

TAV Airports Holding CIO and also TAV IT General Manager Binnur Güleryüz Onaran was selected ‘The Best CIO in Turkey’ at the IDC Turkey CIO Summit 2015. TAV IT also received ‘The Best IT Management Project’ and ‘The Best Change Management Project’ for its IT systems projects designed for Madinah Airport, Saudi Arabia, at 2015 Summit.
