Leading airport systems provider, Intersystems Asia Pacific, has launched a new look to coincide with the
change of ownership for this segment of the business.

The purchase of the Asia Pacific business concluded in March 2011 and with it brings a fresh new look and a
renewed focus, signifying the start of a new era in airport systems in the industry.

For over 30 years Intersystems has been at the top of their field delivering many of the world’s most
prestigious airport projects and according to managing director, Bruce Allen, they’d like to keep it that way.

Based on their premise of providing the ‘latest technology through innovative solutions,’ the new look logo
and website communicates the new approach being taken by managing director, Bruce Allen, and his team.

“We identified the need for a more focused, nimble approach in the Asia Pacific market and we
wanted our new look to impart our renewed energy in both technological and strategic developments for our
customers,” said Mr Allen.

“We call it being ‘ingenious by design’ – our development team create innovative, clever solutions but it
doesn’t just happen by chance; it’s measured, deliberate and it must add value.”

While they continue to uphold a friendly and cooperative relationship with the USA business, Intersystems
Asia Pacific said they were keen to reflect the new direction for this region by creating an approachable look
and feel to both the logo and website design.

Manager of research and development, Michael Grant, remains with the group as do all of the Intersystems
team who have been working with customers in this region over many years. There are also imminent
appointments across software developers and support staff to further enhance the team.

Mr Allen further noted, “We’re excited about this new phase in our growth as a business and what it means
for this market and our customers.”

“The Asia Pacific business is now free to enhance and develop their own products and services which can
be better tailored to the unique needs here in this region. In fact, we’re already underway with some very
exciting developments that will be released shortly,” said Mr Allen.
