Ink Innovation and Saudi-based LPort have jointly announced the establishment of Ink Arabia, a new venture unveiled at the Passenger Terminal Expo 2024 in Frankfurt. This partnership, evolving from their collaboration since 2018, aims to pioneer innovative travel solutions aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Ink Innovation president and chief development officer Harmen Brenninkmeijer emphasised the strategic significance of this venture in reshaping the travel technology landscape to cater to Saudi Arabia’s unique market demands. LPort CEO Mohammed Al-Moaither echoed this sentiment, highlighting the joint venture’s commitment to forward-thinking solutions that exceed industry needs.
Headquartered in Riyadh, Ink Arabia will operate across various sectors, including airports, airlines, smart cities, rail, and sea ports. Leveraging Ink’s expertise in web-based, cloud-integrated systems and LPort’s proficiency in hassle-free check-in services, the venture aims to streamline operations and enhance passenger experiences.
Under the leadership of Mohammed Al-Moaither as Chief Operating Officer and Javed Malik as Managing Partner, Ink Arabia is set to drive innovation in Saudi Arabia’s travel sector, in line with the country’s ambition to accommodate over 300 million passengers by 2030. Javed Malik, an industry veteran with 30 years of experience, will spearhead strategic development while Mohammed Al-Moaither will ensure operational excellence, reflecting their collective commitment to transformative solutions and collaborative growth.
