Iberlim, Sociedade de Limpezas Técnicas has begun implementing INFORM’s solutions for optimised deployment of its aircraft cleaning staff at Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS), Portugal.
Iberlim currently performs cleaning services for approximately 160 flights a day at LIS. Using the INFORM solution on Android mobile devices to communicate with the real-time deployment system, the cleaning crews will receive and send task information and status reports. The aim is to optimise 200 cleaning team members, so Iberlim’s dispatchers will then be able to concentrate their efforts on critical situations, instead of routine communications.
By implementing INFORM solutions, Iberlim will not only improve the efficiency of its own operation, but will also be able to transmit up-to-the-minute information on task completion status to its customer, TAP Portugal. TAP will integrate this information into the existing INFORM turnaround solution, giving dispatchers real-time, actionable information about the status of turnarounds.
