Ricochet, a leading supplier of synchronised communication and surveillance recording within the ATC, compliance and public safety sectors, has strengthened its position in the Middle East ATC recording market by signing a contract with partner Bayanat Airports Engineering & Supply.
Technology leader Ricochet will deliver a redundant system with recording capacity of 184 audio channels. The voice recording system will be installed at Jebel Ali Airport. As a major aviation hub in the Middle East, Dubai International Airport was the 15th busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic, handling 40.9 million passengers in 2009.
