Humidity control systems manufacturer CTT Systems has secured new orders from Jet Aviation Basel to install Cair humidification systems in three VIP private business jets.

The system, which will be deployed in BBJ3, A330-200 and A319 aircraft jets, maintains the relative humidity of more than 20% without resulting in condensation.

It reduces dry air-associated problems such as fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry skin and spread of virus diseases, to improve passenger well-being.

CTT said the dual-purpose Cair system is based on evaporative cooling technology and uses a method that avoids the transfer of bacteria within the aircraft.

In addition, the Zonal drying system addresses condensation problems and increases humidity for greater comfort.

Jet Aviation Basel Completions Center project management director Jeremie Caillet said: "We know the Cair humidification system to be effective and reliable and have always enjoyed good collaboration with CTT Systems.
