Boeing has announced that it will delay the delivery of its first 787 Dreamliner until the middle of the first quarter of 2011.
The delivery has been put back again due to a delay in the availability of Rolls-Royce engines for the final phases of flight testing.
The firm said it is working closely with Rolls-Royce to expedite engine availability.
Japan’s All Nippon Airways, the launch customer for the aircraft, was due to take delivery of the aircraft at the end of this year.
The 787 programme has already been delayed by over two years following a series of setbacks.
