The orbit of the International Space Station (ISS) has been successfully corrected.
The manoeuvre was carried out by the engines of the Russian cargo vessel, Progress M-06M.
The orbit was raised by 2.2km to 355.5km, according to the Interfax news agency.
The orbital correction was needed to provide optimal conditions for the docking of Progress M-07M on 10 September 2010 and the departure of another Russian vessel, Soyuz TMA-18.
