AeroMechanical Services (AMA) has signed a contract to install afirs UpTime on the entire fleet of 34 turboprop aircraft for a regional Scandinavian airline.

The contract includes real-time flight following and cockpit voice services, operational data reporting, aircraft exceedance reporting with the option of adding AMA’s FLYHT fuel management system and FLYHTStream in the future without any additional airborne hardware.

The airline, the name of which hasn’t been disclosed, plans to use AMA’s solutions to automate processes for increased operational awareness and accuracy.

Installation will begin on 31 August 2010 and, once complete, the gross revenue to AMA will be about $4.3m.
