Wellington International Airport in New Zealand has deployed Veovo’s online airport management system known as R8.
According to Veovo, the airport management system will provide a real-time, predictive overall view of operational activities to the airport and its aviation partners.
Wellington Airport facilities and IT general manager Leanne Gibson said: “Our operational management system is an important part of ensuring that our staff can get their jobs done at maximum efficiency.
“The new platform gives us instant clarity of what’s happening, and when, across the airport. It allows us to make fast, proactive decisions, particularly around events like changes in flight schedules.”
The new system produces a role-specific, business-oriented answer to the challenge being faced and directs employees to focus on addressing any potential issues quickly.
As a result, Wellington Airport will be able to boost its performance and better optimise its operational efficiency, while also ensuring enhanced experience for passengers.

“We’re thrilled to be able to continue to drive improvements in their performance, passenger experiences and financial outcomes with this new software.”

Using R8, airports can accelerate time to invoice, improve revenue forecasting, win new carriers and expand routes.
