Vista Global Holding, the parent of VistaJet, has agreed to take over the operating platform and maintenance services of Air Hamburg, a German private jet charter operator.
The financial terms of the transaction were not shared.

The deal will offer Vista access to Air Hamburg’s 44 contracted aircraft, which includes Lineage 1000E, Dassault Falcon 7X and Embraer Legacy models.
This takes Vista’s total group aircraft count, including owned and managed, to more than 240. The deal follows Vista’s recent integration of Apollo Jets, Talon Air and Red Wing Aviation.
In terms of the number of flights, Air Hamburg is ranked as the largest private jet operator across Europe. It ranks second to Vista by hours flown.
Through the takeover, Vista anticipates getting a 15% share of the global charter market. It also expects to see a 30% rise in flight hours on a combined basis.

Besides, the transaction includes Air Hamburg’s EASA Part145 maintenance hub at Baden Baden Airpark, as well as its Executive Handling division and VIP lounge at Hamburg Airport (HAM).
The deal awaits regulatory approval, with completion scheduled in the first half of this year.

“This cooperation between two of the largest operators means increasing our stability and securing further growth for our business while allowing our team to showcase their strength and competencies to the most sophisticated clientele.”
Air Hamburg flies to over 1,000 destinations in Europe. Last year, it organised more than 18,800 flights for its clients, recording over 35,000 hours.
