Republic Airways, a regional carrier in North America, has chosen IBS Software to develop crew schedule bidding system.
Currently under development, this system is designed to improve operational efficiency.
Republic Airways picked IBS Software with the aim to update its Preferential Bidding System (PBS) with IBS Software’s iFlight Crew Planning Optimisers.
The application promises a configurable solution with an intuitive interface, allowing crew members to have greater control over their schedules without compromising operational targets.
In addition, the system is set to enhance the crew experience by accommodating individual schedule preferences, providing transparency in the bidding process, and efficiently managing duties and time off within legal and company guidelines.
IBS Software’s solution was selected following a review that involved crew members, managers and their unions.
