Progility Technologies has secured a contract to improve the digital infrastructure at Cochin (Kochi) International Airport (CIAL) in the Indian state of Kerala.

The project aims to streamline airport operations through advanced communications and audio-visual systems.

Progility Technologies, a specialist in unified communications, collaborations, data, and cybersecurity solutions, will supply and install a flight information display system (FIDS) and a centralised content management system at CIAL.

The FIDS will provide passengers with real-time updates on flight status, gate changes, and baggage claim information. This system helps deliver timely and accurate flight information throughout the airport terminals.

CIAL IT and communication head and general manager Santhosh S said: “Building on the success of our previous collaboration with Progility Technologies in Unified Communication, we are upgrading Terminal 3 with state-of-the-art flight information displays and a robust content management system for commercial displays.”

In addition to the FIDS, a CMS will be implemented to manage and distribute content across all digital displays at the airport.
