Paradies Lagardère, a travel retail and restaurateur firm in North America, has won two travel essentials concessions at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).
The stores under the Univision brand will be opened in Terminal C while Relay, a new concept at the airport, will be located in the pre-security area of Terminal D.
Terminal C is said to be the busiest terminal at DFW, and Terminal D is currently undergoing a renovation and expansion. Both terminals serve overseas leisure passengers and much of the traveller demographic at DFW regularly uses technology.
Besides meeting basic traveller and airport’s employee needs, these stores will provide customer-focused and engaging experiences through innovation and technology.
Paradies Lagardère president and CEO Gregg Paradies said: “Paradies Lagardère is thrilled with the opportunity to continue to build upon our successful partnership with DFW airport.
“We’re confident these new concepts will not only serve traveller’s needs, but they will enjoy the fun technology we’ve put into the stores, including news in two languages on high-definition screens and the selfie screen in our Univision store, and the Flowbox screen in the Relay store.”
