Ontario International Airport (ONT) in California, US, has digitised its on-site parking system to make the airport journey easier and more affordable for driving passengers.
The new parking system can be accessed through ONT’s website flyontario.com. Travellers will have to enter a check-in and return date, select a parking package, execute online payment and then scan an emailed barcode upon entry and exit to the parking lot.
Ontario International Airport Authority CEO Mark Thorpe said: “The new parking feature is all about improving the airport experience. We recognise that our customers have choices, so it is critically important that we continue to add new services and amenities that make ONT even more convenient than other airports in Southern California.”
The online prepayment system means passengers can book daily and valet parking slots. The prepayment system tracks available spaces and identifies options where the biggest savings are available.
MAG USA president and CEO Martin Jones said: “Flights are booked in advance. Hotels are booked in advance. There is no reason for parking to be such a guessing game.
“This service removes the stress of wondering if there will be an affordable parking spot waiting for you.”
