Engine and airframe maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service provider StandardAero Business Aviation has completed its first 1C inspection of a Dassault Falcon 7X aircraft.

After completing the inspection at its MRO facility in Springfield, Illinois, US, StandardAero has delivered the Falcon 7X 1C to its manufacturer, Dassault Aviation.

During the inspection, StandardAero has also conducted scrutiny of more than 50 airframe service bulletins on the aircraft, which is a large-cabin, long range trijet from Dassault Aviation’s business jet line.

"Our Falcon 7X programme is growing quickly and we will ensure our customers receive the most flexible and customised solutions for their aircraft."

As part of the service bulletin 7X-338 inspection, the centre wing tank of the aircraft has been improved for enhanced accessibility.

Service bulletin 7X-353 was also conducted to improve fluid circulation in the lower panels of the lateral centre wing tanks.

StandardAero's Springfield facility vice president and general manager Enrique Hernandez said: "As one of the most extensive Falcon 7X 1C events completed to date, this unique experience will benefit future customers by avoiding potential bottlenecks, knowing the level of Service Bulletin and inspection planning needed in advance of the aircraft input and putting the right technical resources in place for seamless project management.
