Passenger volumes at Kansas City International Airport (KCI) in Missouri, US, rose to 3,797,141 during the year to date, a 2.2% rise on the figure for the corresponding period in 2010.
During September 2011, the airport recorded 841,140 passengers, a 3.6% increase on the corresponding month last year.
Air cargo volumes consisting of both freight and mail fell by 3.6%, while freight amounted to over 15 million pounds, representing a year-on-year decrease of 1.9%.
Air cargo volumes dropped by 1.4% until September this year compared with the same period in 2010.
