The Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board has entered a deal with Danish pension plan Arbejdsmarkedets Tillægspension (ATP) to provide funding for the acquisition of a 57.7% stake in Copenhagen Airports (CPH) in Denmark.
The shares will be acquired from the Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund III (MEIF3), which has agreed to sell its stake in Kastrup Airport Parents that indirectly owns a 57.7% stake in CPH.
Upon completion of the transaction worth $1.5bn, ATP will become a direct stakeholder in KAP.
Admaterials Technologies, a unit of UK-based laboratory-based testing company Exova Group, has been selected to test civil and construction materials used in the construction of the third runway at Changi Airport.
The work will be carried out at Admaterials’ main laboratory and on-site laboratory, under a contract with Hock Lian Seng Infrastructure-Sembcorp Design and Construction joint venture (JV).
