International Launch Services has been selected to launch KOMPSAT-6 (Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite-6) or Arirang-6 aboard an Angara 1.2 rocket.

The satellite launch is expected to take place at Plesetsk Cosmodrome spaceport in Russia in 2020.

Airbus has been contracted by Philippine airline Cebu Pacific to deliver two A330-300 twin-engine jets.

Cebu Pacific currently operates six A330 aircraft on long-haul routes to destinations in the Middle East and Australia.

The Boeing Company’s division Aviall has entered a deal to distribute de-icing systems manufactured by UTC Aerospace Systems.

The deal covers UTC’a pneumatic de-icers such as Goodrich FASTboot and SILVERboot.

US-based Allegiant Travel Company has ordered 12 A320ceo (current engine option) aircraft from Airbus.

All 12 A320ceos will be equipped with CFM56 engines developed by CFM International. 

The contract will allow Allegiant to replace its ageing fleet with new A320ceos.
