Boeing and VietJet Aviation Joint Stock Company (VietJet) have finalised a deal that will see the latter purchase 100 B737 MAX 200 airplanes from Boeing for $11.3bn.

Expected to be delivered from 2019 through 2023, the new aircraft will increase Vietjet’s fleet to 200. The latest contract has also increased the total number of orders for Boeing’s B737 MAX 200 airplanes to 3,098 from 65 customers worldwide.

Spirit AeroSystems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, has announced a public offering of senior unsecured notes due 2026, to repurchase its outstanding senior notes due 2020.

The current notes are priced at 99.924% of the aggregate outstanding principal amount of $300m. The transaction is expected to close in June 2016.

CACI International has been awarded a three-year $34m prime contract by the US Department of Defense (DoD) to continue implementing a federal financial management and accounting solution as part of the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), which is a critical effort by the DoD to transform the budget, finance and accounting operations of most of its defence agencies.

As part of the contract, CACI will primarily implement an Oracle® enterprise resource planning solution to consolidate multiple legacy systems into a single platform, for use by a number of agencies across DoD.

Travelport has announced that it has signed a long-term global full content agreement with Mango, a South African low cost airline.

It will primarily enable Mango to connect with Travelport’s agencies, providing global customers real-time access to its fares and inventory through the latter’s Travel Commerce Platform.

It will also allow Mango to use Travelport’s technology services for electronic ticketing and further promote its products and services to its airline partners and customers.
