Flight simulator manufacturer CAE has signed a series of contracts worth more than C$130m ($97.9m) with airlines and aircraft manufacturers to supply full-flight simulators.

China Eastern Airlines’ training centre subsidiary Shanghai Eastern Flight Training (SEFTC) has placed an order for four simulators, including three Boeing 737 MAX, one Boeing 777, and two CAE Simfinity 400XR integrated procedures trainers (IPT).

Airbus’ Asian Training Center will buy one A320 full-flight simulator and an A320 airbus pilot transition (ATP) trainer.

The A320 CAE 7000XR simulator will feature CAE Tropos 6000XR visual system. It will commence training at the end of March 2016.

Russian aviation equipment company NITA signed a deal with CAE for one Boeing 737NG full-flight simulator.

Eastern Air Lines has awarded a contract for Boeing 737NG training services under a five-year agreement in the US, Eastar Jet in Seoul, Korea extended contract by five years for Boeing 737NG pilot type-rating training.

CAE also secured contracts with two undisclosed customers is Asia for the A330 / A340 pilot training and A320 flight crew sourcing, through CAE Parc Aviation.
