Several flights have been cancelled from Bradley International Airport in Connecticut, US, and Boston Logan International Airport in Massachusetts as snowstorm Linus hits the regions.
The windstorm has led to the cancellation of 58 departing flights from Bradley International Airport and more than 500 flights that were scheduled to arrive or depart from Boston Logan International Airport.
MassLive quoted Connecticut Airport Authority as saying that approximately 41 flights to arrive in Bradley have also been cancelled.
Several airlines supposed to travel from Boston have cancelled 250 flights, including domestic and international locations. As of Monday noon, a total of 259 arrivals have been cancelled in Boston.
Bradley international Airport, which houses Connecticut Air National Guard units and serves as an emergency backup landing location for air carriers, is open despite of flights being cancelled.
With limited operation, Boston Logan International Airport will also remain open.

By GlobalDataBoston Logan Airport officials were quoted by MassLive as saying: "Crews will be working throughout the storm to keep the airfield open, unless conditions make snow removal operations unsafe.
"Airlines are cancelling flights in advance of the storm and delays are likely."
Boston Logan’s aviation officials said that the airport is ready for the New England Patriots’ arrival.
According to the Associated Press, more than 1,000 flights were cancelled across the nation.
