Nashville International Airport (BNA) has officially opened the newly constructed $115m parking and transportation centre for travellers.
The centre is part of the airport’s renovation project ‘BNA Vision’ Growth & Expansion Plan was completed $7m under budget at an overall cost of $115m.
The new six-level parking building is capable of accommodating 2,200 cars.
Along with a dedicated ground transportation centre for commercial vehicles, the facility offers a host of other amenities such as parking space guidance system, electric vehicle charging stations, tyre inflation station, car locator kiosks, and pay-on-foot units.
The facility also offers flight information displays, covered walkway to the terminal, ground-level pick-up by commercial vehicles, including WeGo Public Transit buses, hotel shuttles, charter buses, limousines, taxis and ride app vehicles.
BNA board of commissioners chair Dr A Dexter Samuels said: “A modern facility with convenient parking and easy access to a variety of ground transportation is critical to our customers and essential as we build a world-class airport.

Designed by Atkins North America, the parking and transportation centre was constructed by JE Dunn Construction Company within a period of 23 months from the start of construction in January last year.
During construction, the project offered jobs to more than 1,200 people.
The parking and transportation centre is situated adjacent to the existing short-term parking garage, which will soon be demolised to make way for a larger terminal parking garage as part of BNA Vision.
