Hill International has renewed its contract with the City of Philadelphia’s Division of Aviation (DOA) to continue its support of Philadelphia International Airport’s (PHL) $2.375bn Capital Development Program.
Extension of the eighth, multi-year agreement will enable Hill to continue delivering better planning, implementation and control support for PHL’s Capital Development Program. There will be a special focus on projects and financial controls.
The programme comprises more than $700m in airfield and over $1.3bn in terminal and landside access projects.
The work is expected to support PHL’s growth, as the airport serves about 30 million passengers per annum and provides more than 1,000 daily flights to 130 national and global destinations.
The scope of the contract includes planning and implementing the DOA’s yearly capital budget, assisting with programme financial control from various funding sources, coordinating and assisting with commercial paper and bond takeouts and CFC and PFC management.
Under the terms of the contract, Hill will also maintain and update the existing programme management system, coordinate and assist with consultant selection as well procuring public works bids, coordinate project controls and manage tenant permits.
