Etihad Aviation Group’s cargo and logistics arm Etihad Cargo has partnered with Freightos’ WebCargo to extend the reach of digital air cargo.
Under the partnership, the reach of Etihad Cargo will extend to around 1,700 logistics providers around the world.
The platform will be used as an extra channel to benefit from Etihad Cargo eBookings.
It will offer instant Etihad Cargo booking schedules, promotional rates and eBooking, and also enables the comparison and booking of the air freight.
After the announcement of the partnership, the flight schedules and market rates of Etihad Cargo in Spain, France and the UK will be available on the platform.
Customers can initially evaluate and compare airline offers, following which instant eBookings functionality will be launched in April after the completion of API testing and systems integration.
