US carrier Delta Air Lines is set to introduce new cabin interior across its entire fleet.
The transformation builds on feedback and research that aims to address evolving customer expectations.
This redesign will incorporate breathable materials, memory foam cushions on widebody jets, and mood lighting tailored to different flight phases.
The enhanced lighting programmes are curated to establish a tranquil onboard atmosphere, aiding passengers in adjusting to time zone changes.
Delta’s latest design motifs include the Infinite Grid on bulkheads, symbolising the airline’s extensive global connectivity.
The Celestial Sky pattern used throughout the cabin draws inspiration from the airline’s network and captures the magic of flight.

A modern Azure Blue colour will grace the cabinets, while the flooring will be updated with a smooth, speckled material for more cleanliness and traction.
The rollout of Delta’s new cabin design will commence on a narrowbody Boeing 757 aircraft, servicing domestic and short-haul international routes later this fall.
By early 2025, a widebody Airbus A350 will showcase the new design on long-haul international routes, with additional aircraft updates planned over the following years.
Delta customer experience design vice president Mauricio Parise said: “Delta has a one-hundred-year history of creating a customer experience that feels welcoming and thoughtful with intentional design elements woven into every aspect of a customer’s travel.
“As we embark on our next century of flying, this refreshed cabin interior infuses utility with beauty to create an atmosphere that feels fresh, elevated, and timeless while reflecting our customers’ evolving tastes and expectations.”
In July this year, Saudia Arabia’s newest airline Riyadh Air partnered with Delta as it looks to establish a significant network of destinations before its commercial launch next year.
