Budapest Airport has renewed its contract with online parking reservation provider ParkCloud after a successful two-year partnership.
ParkCloud said that the renewal of the contract highlights the success of the contract offering passengers at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport the option of reserving parking at the airport’s facilities.
The collaboration is said to have contributed to an extensive growth in bookings across all six on-site parking locations.
Valid for two years, the renewed contract will continue to provide passengers with enhanced online coverage for Budapest Airport’s parking facilities.
The facilities also get additional exposure to travellers flying with airlines partnered with ParkCloud, such as Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air.
Budapest Airport landside services head Manel Moreno said: “After reaching record passenger numbers at the close of 2017, it is more pertinent than ever that the services we offer our customers are reliable and add value to the overall customer journey.

By GlobalData“The partnership with ParkCloud clearly represents a synergy between our shared brand values, and as such, we are keen to develop and expand on the success of the last three years in the upcoming contract term.”
The partnership between the airport and ParkCloud is supported by the integration of on-site hardware from car park management systems provider Designa.
This gives customers access to a barcode ticket allowing automated access to the car park, as well as automatic number plate recognition (ANPR).
