We catch up with the programme to learn more about the technology and its implementation.
In security developments, we find out more about a new robotic kiosk that could help detect travellers with hostile intentions and, following the mass shooting incident at Fort Lauderdale Airport, ask whether a bill to allow concealed weapons for citizens in unsecured parts of Florida’s airports could make facilities safer.
We also take a closer look at JFK Airport’s $10bn upgrade which will increase its passenger load to 75 million by 2030, inspect Vienna Airport’s ‘secret gallery’, explore London Southend Airport’s twelve new European routes due to open in May, and find out why mental health issues seem to be prevalent in the industry.
