Reflecting on Energy Efficiency Case Study
By SkyCool
SkyCool's solar reflective coating that was applied to the roof of DHL's warehouse reduced its energy use by over 25%, providing more than $40,000 of savings a year.
DHL's temperature-controlled warehouse at Arndell Park is 15,850m² and is divided into two operational zones, with a wall separating them. Warehouse A, which is twice the area of warehouse B, is cooled by six air conditioning units, and warehouse B by four units.
