Passengers at Berlin Schönefeld Airport (SXF) will experience faster check-in times with the installation of a new common use passenger processing solution (CUPPS), ARINC vMUSE, from Rockwell Collins.
"Over the last years, we’ve experienced significant growth thanks to the expansion of several carriers operating out of SXF," said Roland Böhm, head of Infrastructure and Operational Systems at Berlin Airports. "So we needed a common passenger processing solution that would keep passenger traffic flowing and minimising the expense of adding new infrastructure."
"With this implementation, Rockwell Collins’ ARINC CUPPS solution is being used at SXF to boost efficiency, so passengers can move through the airport more quickly," explained Paul Hickox, head of Airport System Sales for Rockwell Collins.
ARINC vMUSE enables airports to support multiple airline check-in applications running concurrently on the same workstation, allowing airlines to process passengers faster and more efficiently while reducing costs.
