From the 21st to the 24th of September, the 25th-anniversary international forum aimed at the opening and development of new air routes has been held in the city of Adelaide (Australia).
Commercial Director of JSC Tolmachevo Airport Natalia Mzhelskaya, and head of aviation business development department Igor Leontiev, acting as representatives of the airport at the forum, held a number of working meetings and negotiations with foreign airlines, as well as with international airports. During the meetings, they have discussed the prospects of opening new destinations of flights from Novosibirsk and the cities of the Siberian cluster of LLC Novaport — Ulan-Ude, Chita, as well as the expansion of cooperation with existing partners, the partnership of airlines in terms of the development of transfer services through the Novosibirsk airport.
Some meetings have been held with representatives of airlines from China (China Eastern Airlines, Beijing Capital Airlines, Spring Airlines, Juneyao Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines), Japan (Japan Airlines, All Nippon Airways), Vietnam (Vietnam Airlines), India (AirAsia India) and other countries. The possibility of opening new flights from Novosibirsk to Ulaanbaatar has been discussed with the MIAT Mongolian Airlines.
Together with European airlines Pegasus Airlines, SunExpress Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, representatives of the airport discussed the prospects of opening air links with Istanbul, Delhi, Dusseldorf, Hanover and Warsaw.
In addition, the representatives of Tolmachevo airport have discussed the issue of supporting direct charter and regular flights from Novosibirsk to Barcelona with the travel agency Barcelona Air Route Development Committee.
