A contract has been awarded to Passur Aerospace for the installation of a new information and automation solution at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) in the US.

The new system will improve traffic flow and passenger capacity at FLL, while reducing delays and congestion.

Singapore Technologies Electronics and GomSpace have entered a memorandum of understanding with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) to collaborate on the usage of space-based VHF communications for air traffic management.
