Gothenburg Landvetter Airport has announced it will be revamping the range of shops at the airport this summer.
Two major additions will be a new electronics store and a brand-new souvenir shop, with a focus on Nordic handicrafts and gifts.
In its strategy for Landvetter, Sweden’s state-owned airport operator Swedavia says it wanted to update the existing range of options with “an expanded offering in travel essentials” such as a kiosk, books and souvenirs.
Swedavia is also adding “more enjoyable” shopping options, mostly in fashion and beauty products.
“It’s a facelift for the airport that passengers will appreciate,” said Anna Strömwall, airport director at Landvetter.
“There will be both a revitalised offering and fresher premises at Landvetter, which is really great. Both frequent fliers and less frequent travellers should always find what they need before their flight and also be surprised by something new.”
