Cardiff Airport has chosen Veovo’s Intelligent Airport Platform to improve its operational efficiency and airport management.
The airport management and revenue technology can connect staff and systems across an airport to allow faster decisions to be made with a wider view of site operations.
Veovo CEO James Williamson said the company was “delighted” to be partnering with Cardiff Airport to deliver a better experience for passengers and airlines.
Williamson said: “Airports of all sizes are switching on to the power of joined-up thinking based on live data to improve real-time decision-making and collaboration.”
Cardiff was one of the worst-hit airports in the UK during the Covid-19 pandemic, with a drop in passenger traffic of 87% in 2020, but the business has been looking to recover from the crisis with a five-year rescue and restructuring plan.
Recently, the airport added two financial and transport experts to its board in an attempt to bolster its strategy for growth and build on its relationships with airlines.
