Aviation services company Swissport has extended its alliance with Hong Kong Airlines in Japan until 2025.
Since July 2016, Swissport Japan has been offering passenger services, air cargo handling, ramp handling, and cabin cleaning to Hong Kong Airlines.
Swissport Asia Pacific managing director Brad Moore said: “We are pleased to extend our successful partnership with Hong Kong Airlines in Japan.
“We’re looking forward to seeing their aircraft and volumes return back to pre-COVID numbers as travel restrictions continue to ease across much of Asia.”
Under the new agreement, Swissport will continue to offer its services for another three years to the Hong Kong-based carrier at Kansai International Airport near Osaka and at Tokyo’s Narita International Airport.
Hong Kong Airlines ran up to three flights a day to both these airports from Hong Kong International Airport before the Covid-19 pandemic.
