Trade association Airports Council International (ACI) World has introduced a new interactive airport industry intelligence tool.
Called ACI Intelligence Hub, the new tool is said to have been designed to help users explore airport traffic and financial data in an interactive manner.
The tool will have Analyst, Executive, Library and Benchmark modules.
Initially, the platform will feature three modules and the rollout of the fourth module is planned later this year.
Using ACI Intelligence Hub, people can interact with passenger, cargo and aircraft movement data in various modules.
Through the Analyst module, users will be able to access customised passenger, cargo and aircraft movement data using the annual airport traffic database.

By GlobalDataThis database comprises airport traffic of more than 2,500 airports located across 180 countries and territories.
The module covers 95% of the annual global scheduled passenger traffic and monthly airport traffic database that includes airport data for over 1,200 of the world’s major commercial airports.
The executive module features interactive dashboards and gives an overview of the world, regional and sub-regional airport industry for the past five years.
With the library module, users can access a selection of ACI’s publications that offers airport industry traffic data and economic insights.
Finally, the benchmarking module provides airport performance against industry averages, as well as different pre-defined groupings for a wide range of key performance indicators. It is expected to be released later this year.
ACI World director general Luis Felipe de Oliveira said: “After several years of work and significant investment, we are proud to launch the ACI Intelligence Hub.
“The platform is unique in that it will have the most comprehensive data in the airport industry leveraging data collected directly from airports.
“It will enable airports, consulting firms and a wide variety of aviation and travel stakeholders to gain actionable insights with reliable and extensive data. This is especially important as the air transport, travel and tourism and other related sectors recover and aim to build back better.”
Earlier this week, ACI Europe said that airports and other key industry stakeholders in the region agreed to support the aviation industry’s net-zero 2050 target by signing the Toulouse Declaration.
