Nutzfahrzeuge ROHR manufactures tailor-made aircraft refuelling vehicles. We have been designing and producing aircraft refuellers, road tankers and box-type superstructures for many years, with 15,000 vehicles designed and produced by us so far.
Aircraft refuellers for the airport industry
ROHR produces semi-trailer type aircraft refuellers with volumes from 20m³ up to 60m³. These vehicles are equipped with lifting platforms for under-wing pressure refuelling. With its low profile it is possible to drive under smaller aircrafts and with the lifting platform it is possible to reach the height of the Airbus A380.
Semi-trailer aircraft refuellers
The semi-trailer RFS 60 aircraft refueller has 60,000l worth of tank volume, two deck hoses of 3,200l/min via aircraft couplings and two reel hoses of 3,000l/min via aircraft couplings. Defuelling is a maximum acceptable vacuum and the centrifugal pump is mechanically driven. The monitor is 3,406l/min and the meter is one counter 6in with a rate of flow indicator for refuelling and defuelling. The hose reel is two radial with 25m hose and 21/2in hydraulic rewind.
The semi-trailer RFS 30 and RFS 40 aircraft refuellers have tank volumes of 30,000l to 40,000l. The flow-rate is two deck hoses with 1,500l/min up to 3,000l/min via aircraft couplings and one reel hose with 1,100l/min via aircraft coupling and one reel hose 300l/min via nozzle. The defuelling is at the maximum acceptable vacuum and the centrifugal pump is mechanically driven. The filter water separator is 1,932l/min to 3,160l/min. The semi-trailer refueller has one 4in oval wheel counter with mechanical counter for refuelling and defuelling. The hose reel is one radial with 30m hose (2in), a hydraulic rewind, one radial with 30m hose (1½in) and hydraulic rewind.
Rigid type aircraft refuellers
The rigid-type refuellers with a volume of 5m³ up to 20m³ can be designed and produced by Rohr to be used on public roads. These vehicles can be prepared to tow a refuelling trailer, which can be also produced by Rohr.

Hydrant dispensers
ROHR offers hydrant dispensers and can also offer a super dispenser. This vehicle combines all functions that are available for hydrant dispensers and it is also equipped with a small refuelling tank so it can be used as a refueller and dispenser. The tank mounted onto the vehicle can be filled via the pit system.
The airfield hydrant dispenser RFHD has a flow-rate of two deck hoses 4,000l/min via heavy duty under wing couplings and one reel hose of 1,200l/min via heavy duty under wing coupling. The filter water separator is 4,277l/min and the meter is one oval wheel counter (4in) with mechanic or electronic counter for refuelling. The hose reel is one radial with 25m hose (2in) and hydraulic rewind, and the deadman system is a radio controlled deadman timer system.
The hydrant dispenser RFHD Super 7000’s pit flow-rate is two deck hoses of 3,800l/min via heavy duty under wing couplings and one reel hose of 1,000l/min via heavy duty under wing coupling. The tank flow-rate is two deck hoses of 1,200l/min and one reel hose of 1,000l/min. The tank capacity is 7,000l and and the filling possibilities are over-wing and under-wing refuelling and via inlet coupling.
Axles, cooling units and loading tail gates
Our carefully selected, internationally known suppliers of axles, cooling units, loading tail gates, mineral oil pumps, measuring devices and other components are subject to our quality management system.
Each ROHR vehicle has to pass our strict inspection procedures both during production and prior to delivery, to guarantee the long-term and trouble-free usage of our vehicles.
