By GlobalDataThe NEST contract involves providing and managing most of Nasa’s personal computing hardware, supporting infrastructure, agency standard software, mobile IT services, help-desk support and other related end-user services.
Leidos Civil Group president Angie Heise said: “With its size, scope, and scale, the NEST contract is a marquee win for us. Our ultimate goal is to provide intuitive, easy-to-use services that efficiently prevent or resolve problems for the Nasa community, enabling them to have seamless IT services for their critical missions.”
The company’s team of technical experts will work on maximising automation and end-user support management to ensure all systems are secure.
As part of the contract, Leidos will also use predictive and descriptive analytics to evaluate and analyse data for implementation of data-driven practices whose objective is to reduce call volumes, enhance self-service tasks and improve customer satisfaction.
The End-User Services Program Office at Nasa’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, is responsible to manage the services provided under the NEST contract.
