UK’s Heathrow and Gatwick airports are expecting record number of passengers during the Easter holidays.

While Heathrow said in a statement that it expects to carry around 800,000 travellers, Gatwick also announced that it would expect approximately 480,000 travelling through the airport.

Both airports are expecting to record an increase of 40% and 11% respectively, over last year’s numbers.

Because of the Easter weekend, both airports also announced special features for travellers from 3-6 April.
