Thai Airways has finalised the purchase agreement with Airbus for seven A330-300 aircraft, confirming the order announced at the recent Farnborough Air Show.

The new aircraft will join the existing fleet of 20 A330-300s owned by the airline.

The seven A330-300s, each fitted with 300 seats, will help serve the airline’s needs on regional routes such as Perth and Dubai.

Thai Airways expects to expand its regional network and maximise its market potential with the airliners, deliveries of which will begin towards the end of 2011.
