Israel-based manufacturer of professional video recording and transmission systems SerVision has secured a contract with the UK’s Gatwick airport for the supply of live mobile CCTV systems and monthly data services.

Under the terms of the contract, the company will install MVG400 units in 12 vehicles in the airport’s airfield operations

SerVision’s MVG400 is the company’s flagship mobile DVR and streaming system for full size vehicles. It features geo-fencing, route deviation and speed alerts.

Capable of supporting connectivity with up to four cameras, the unit can also be networked with another unit inside large vehicles to remotely access eight cameras from one shared cellular uplink.

As the system can offer live streaming performance over any type of cellular infrastructure, including slower 2G networks, the MVG400 is considered to be suited for a range of mission-critical and public transportation safety applications.

The company’s newly opened UK-based management team has undertaken the order and provide technical support.

SerVision intends to open a new office in Manchester in the future.

Meanwhile, the company has created a new system that can stream closed-circuit television (CCTV) directly from moving vehicles and will be used in Kazakhstan, Israel, Brazil, US, Canada and the Netherlands, reported Proactive Investors.
