Applied Composites Group (formerly Icon Polymer Group) has received a $12.95m investment from LDC (Managers) Limited.

Headquartered in the UK, Applied Composites Group manufactures polymer products primarily for the aerospace and rail industries.

The investment will be used by Applied Composites for expand its operations.

Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China has received an order from China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings to supply 30 ARJ21-700 aircraft to an undisclosed Indonesian airline.

The aircraft deliveries will be made within the next two years. The order also includes an option for another 30 ARJ21-700s.

Virgin Atlantic Airways and Airbus have finalised a $4.4bn aircraft supply contract.

As part of the contract, Airbus will deliver eight A350-1000 aircraft to Virgin Atlantic Airways, beginning 2019.

The deal also covers supply of four new aircraft on long-term leases, with an option for a fifth aircraft. Deliveries of the first four aircraft will begin in 2020.

Malaysian airline AirAsia has agreed to purchase 100 Airbus A321neo aircraft to enhance its capacity.

The new A321neos will serve AirAsia's most popular routes. The airline has ordered a total of 575 A320 family aircraft to date.

Gulfstream Aerospace has received an order from Qatar Airways for the supply of an additional three new G650ER aircraft.

The additional aircraft will help Qatar Airways to further expand its service in new routes, including Doha to Auckland, New Zealand.
