Thai Airways, flag carrier of Thailand, has upgraded the network infrastructure at its headquarters in Thailand by implementing the AI Native Networking Platform from Juniper Networks.
The platform is designed to provide measurable and secure wired and wireless services through data-driven real-time responses.
The carrier deploys Wi-Fi 6E by leveraging Juniper AP45 access points and Juniper EX Series Ethernet switches across its core, distribution, and access networks.
The deployment of Juniper’s platform is powered by Mist AI, which uses purpose-built Artificial intelligence for IT operations (AIOps) trained on nine years of insights and data science development.
This technology, part of Juniper’s AI-Native Networking Platform, is designed to reduce network-related issues, with up to a 90% decrease in trouble tickets reported.
Juniper Mist Wired and Wireless Assurance cloud services have been integrated to unify management of Thai Airways’ networks, ensuring minimal human intervention while maintaining high-quality connections.

Since the upgrades, Thai Airways is claimed to have seen a marked reduction in network issues and user complaints.
Looking ahead, the airline is considering extending Juniper’s solutions to its major international airport hubs in Thailand, potentially expanding beyond the scope of the current head office deployment.
Thai Airways network and cybersecurity team lead Tana Kantipan said: “Slow, unreliable Wi-Fi was previously hampering productivity and efficiency at our Bangkok head offices, but the upgrades have turned networking complaints into compliments. With the Juniper solution, we are now also able to unify management of our wired and wireless networks through an industry-leading, cloud-native solution purpose-built to leverage AIOps.
“Enabled by Juniper, we are excited to continually uplift the user experiences of our operators and customers alike, as Thai Airways continues to grow and soar into the skies internationally going forward.”
